Dear Gardeners, For the 11th time, we are pleased to supplement our catalog with new varieties. This year, the number of varieties added is less than usual. It is a result of the changing direction of our farm's development. At the moment, we offer almost 600 varieties of tomatoes. Most of our customers buy about 20 of them every year. This means that it takes around 30 years to try any of the strains that are already available. So far, we have focused on acquiring the most interesting novelties that appeared on global markets. However, starting from this year, our new goal is to secure the harvested varieties for as long as possible. From the pickers we slowly head towards the seed bank. We want all varieties we offer to be available every year and all the time. To this end, we have changed many internal procedures. The way of preserving seeds has changed, and now we can safely store them for several dozen years. Changes are not visible from the outside, we are still a farm, we still have an online store. Of course, that doesn't mean there will be fewer new varieties in the coming years! We still have several dozen in the qualification and we will continue to acquire more, but our main goal has changed since this year.
