A variety of grape tomatoes with an interesting history. It comes from Colombia. According to some sources, it is a separate species of Lycopersicon columbianum, but all indications are that it is a semi-wild representative of the common tomato species Lycopersicon esculentum, or Solanum lycopersicum. Hence the name of the variety - Columbianum Wildform (meaning wild form). Originally donated to The Seed Ambassadors Project in 2007 by tomato seed collector Gerhard Bohl from Germany. The fruit is not very large, the size of a plum. Plants resistant to harsh conditions (including high humidity). The plant is tall.
