The Anna Russian tomato variety is a tall, old variety with pink, heart-shaped fruit that originates from Russia. The tomatoes are extremely tasty, have a thin skin, and the flesh is fleshy, juicy and sweet, which makes them ideal for salads, sandwiches and sauces. The fruit of this variety reaches a weight of 350 to 450 g, but some sources say that they can reach up to 500 g.
Anna Russian plants are characterized by delicate, slender foliage typical of oxheart varieties, and the tomatoes appear in clusters of 2-3 pieces. The fruits are especially valued for their rich, sweet and sour taste and early ripening, starting about 65 days after planting. Additionally, this variety is exceptionally fruitful and tolerates various climatic conditions well, both in heat and in cooler temperatures.
The Anna Russian tomato is an excellent choice for both lovers of classic, juicy tomatoes and those looking for a variety suitable for both direct consumption and preserves.
