One of our earliest-bearing varieties. The fruit reaches maturity as early as about 50 days after planting. The fruit is small, perfectly red, spherical, or slightly flattened. The skin is delicate yet resistant to damage. This variety was developed by Dr. Harris at the Beaverlodge Research Station in Canada. It is a determinate variety, ideal for growing in the ground or anywhere space is limited. The plant is productive and heavily laden with fruit. The fruits are slightly larger than typical grape tomatoes, weighing between 30 and 60 grams.
In the same Canadian series, you’ll find “Sub Arctic Maxi,” which has slightly larger fruits.
