Mini Marzano is a miniature tomato with elongated red fruits. It originated from a cross between Brad’s Atomic Grape and a micro-mini tomato, developed by Mark Seabolt. Wild Boar Farms then conducted selection over seven generations, choosing plants from among hundreds of seedlings.
Here, the plant reaches a height of about 25–35 cm and is suitable for pots and balcony planters. It has regular leaves, a compact growth habit, and a long fruiting period. The first harvest occurs about 65–70 days after transplanting the seedlings. Its short stature does not mean it is a determinate variety: the breeder describes this variety as indeterminate.
The fruits typically weigh 15–20 g; they are elongated and end in a small point. They have fleshy, juicy pulp and a delicately sweet, tomato-like flavor. They work well as a snack, in salads, and in light sauces. In our cultivation, we value their low tendency to crack and their shelf life after harvest.
