Striped Stuffer have a clearly separated seed cavity with hollow spaces in the center. Removing the seed cavity is simple, leaving you with a convenient little bowl to use—you can either bake them or serve them raw with the right filling. There are countless ways to take advantage of this feature, limited only by the cook’s imagination. The fruits of this variety are deep red, with distinct colored stripes running from the stem to the pistil scar. The average fruit weight does not exceed 200 grams. They ripen late, about 80 days after transplanting. The plant is tall and requires staking.
