Unusual variety stabilized by JD Whitaker of Conroe, TX. The basis for the cross was probably one of the varieties of Brandywine with another, unknown black one. The fruit is large, weigh up to half a kilo, they have an interesting chocolate-pink color. The taste is delicious - like all varieties of Brandywine, very fleshy, with a thin skin. Fruits reach maturity after about 80 days after planting.
