The Kosovo tomato variety is a unique, tall, indeterminate plant that reaches full yields about 75-80 days after planting. The fruits are large, heart-shaped, with a fleshy interior and a deep pink color. Their weight ranges from 300 to even 900 grams, making them ideal for salads, sandwiches and preserves. Despite their size, the tomatoes ripen relatively early, which distinguishes the Kosovo variety from other large tomatoes.
The taste is intensely tomato-like, sweet and rich, reminiscent of varieties such as Ox Heart, but with an additional note of juiciness, which makes them versatile in the kitchen. The plants are very productive, requiring staking due to the large fruits and spreading stems.
