The Green Giant variety is a unique green tomato that comes from Germany and was introduced to wider cultivation thanks to Reinhard Kraft. The plants are of the indeterminate type, which means that they grow high (even over 2 meters) and require solid support. A characteristic feature of this variety is potato-like leaves and large fruits, which can weigh from 300 grams to even 900 grams.
This variety ripens late, after about 85-90 days from planting, and the fruit is very delicate and easily bruised, it is also susceptible to cracking, which means that you should be systematic when watering them, not allowing the substrate to dry out for a long time. They compensate for this disadvantage with an outstanding taste and creamy delicacy.
