Growth rate

Growth intensity determines the rate at which a plant increases its mass and height. It depends on the variety’s genetics, the amount of light, temperature, and the availability of water and nutrients. Both too slow and excessively fast growth can indicate problems with crop management. The gardener’s goal is to maintain a balance between vegetative and generative growth.
