Plant Feeding (Nutrition)

Feeding plants is a colloquial term for providing tomatoes with the nutrients necessary for growth and fruit production. It includes soil fertilization, fertigation, and foliar feeding. The amount and proportions of nutrients should be adjusted to the plants’ stage of development. Regular, moderate fertilization yields significantly better results than infrequent application of high doses of fertilizer.
