Fertilization
Fertilization is the process of providing plants with the nutrients necessary for growth, flowering, and fruiting. It includes soil fertilization, fertigation, and foliar feeding. The composition and application rates of fertilizers should be tailored to the tomato’s growth stage and the fertility of the growing medium. Proper fertilization allows you to fully realize the variety’s potential and achieve a high-quality yield. It is best to base your fertilization plan on a soil or growing medium analysis and the product label, and to make changes gradually while monitoring the plants.
