Flowering

Flowering is the period during which tomato flowers open and become ready for pollination. Flower induction and initiation occur before the inflorescences become visible. In tomatoes, especially indeterminate varieties, flowering and fruiting occur simultaneously with the continued growth of stems and leaves. Factors influencing proper flowering include temperature, light, nutrition, and the plant’s overall condition. In a tunnel, ensure regular ventilation, maintain uniform soil moisture, and, if there is no air movement, gently shake the clusters.
