Soil Erosion

Soil erosion involves the gradual washing away or blowing away of the most fertile layer of soil by water or wind. It results in the loss of humus and nutrients, as well as a deterioration in soil structure. In tomato cultivation, this phenomenon can be effectively mitigated through mulching, organic fertilization, and keeping the soil covered with vegetation.
