Conductive system
Also known as: conductive tissues
The vascular system consists of tissues responsible for transporting water, nutrients, and assimilates between the roots, leaves, and fruits. Damage to the vascular tissues caused by diseases such as fusarium wilt or verticillium wilt leads to plant wilting even when the soil is moist. If a plant wilts despite moist soil, it should be isolated from healthy plants and the cause identified, rather than increasing watering.
