Leaves

Leaves are the most important site for photosynthesis and transpiration. It is within them that sugars are produced, which are later used for fruit growth and development. The condition of the leaves very quickly reflects problems with nutrition, water management, or developing diseases. Healthy leaves are one of the most valuable parts of a plant and should not be removed unless absolutely necessary.
