Biostimulator

A biostimulator is a fertilizer product that works by stimulating plant nutrition processes regardless of nutrient content. It can improve nutrient use efficiency, tolerance to abiotic stress, plant quality traits, or the availability of nutrients in the soil and rhizosphere. Biostimulants may contain, among other things, algae extracts, amino acids, humic acids, or microorganisms. They do not replace proper fertilization or the protection of plants against diseases and pests.
