Rosella Crimson was developed as part of the international Dwarf Tomato Project by crossing 'Budai Torpe' and '
Stump of the World,' a cross given the working name 'Sleepy.' Patrina Nuske Small selected and named the variety in honor of an Australian parrot—the crimson rosella. A very vigorous plant with large, rugose leaves and thick stems. It takes up little space and produces an absolutely incredible harvest! The pink fruits weigh up to 400 grams and have a delicate skin and fleshy pulp. It can be grown as a single-stemmed plant or (as recommended) as a trailing plant. The fruits ripen in about 75 days.
