A variety with large, very fleshy, yellow-orange fruits. It originates from the United States. The fruits are very tasty and large, often weighing more than half a kilogram. The skin is delicate yet resistant to damage. There is no pronounced shoulder around the stem. The fruit reaches maturity about 80 days after transplanting. The plant grows tall and requires staking or tying up.
The large, dense flesh is perfect for cutting into thick slices. The ‘Brandywine Yellow’ variety, which also has large, light-colored fruit, is used in a similar way.
