Yield unit

The yield unit defines how the size of the harvest is expressed. Depending on the purpose, this can be kilograms per plant, per square meter, or per hectare. This makes it possible to compare different varieties and cultivation techniques. In hobby gardening, the yield per plant is most commonly reported.
