Productivity (yielding capacity)

Productivity refers to a plant’s ability to produce fruit. It is primarily a varietal trait, but it also depends to a large extent on growing conditions, plant health, and proper fertilization. Very high productivity does not always go hand in hand with fruit size or flavor.
