Physiological Disorders

Also known as: physiological disorders

Physiological disorders are abnormalities in tomato development that are not caused by bacterial, viral, or fungal infections. They are most often caused by cultivation errors, nutrient deficiencies, irregular watering, or adverse weather conditions. The most common ones include dry tip rot, fruit cracking, and leaf curling. Physiological disorders are not contagious and do not spread between plants. In most cases, improving growing conditions is more effective than using plant protection products.
