Manganese Deficiency

Manganese deficiency causes chlorosis in younger leaves, which initially resembles iron deficiency. Over time, small areas of necrosis may appear between the veins. This problem most commonly occurs in soils with a high pH. Before applying manganese, check the pH and confirm the deficiency, as similar symptoms may have other causes.
