Necrosis

Necrosis refers to localized tissue death in plants. It manifests as brown, dark brown, or black spots on leaves, stems, or fruits. It can result from diseases, nutrient deficiencies, mechanical damage, or phytotoxicity. Necrosis itself is a symptom, not the name of a specific disease.
