Infection

Infection is the moment when a pathogen enters the plant and begins to multiply. Not every infection leads to visible symptoms of disease. The course of the infection is determined by factors such as the variety’s resistance, the plant’s condition, and environmental conditions. A suspected plant should be isolated, tools should be cleaned, and the cause should be confirmed before selecting a treatment.
