Fruit Calibration
Also known as: sorting fruit by size
Fruit grading involves sorting tomatoes by size, weight, or diameter. In commercial production, it facilitates packaging, sales, and the creation of uniform batches of fruit. In home gardening, it has little practical significance, but it makes it easier to compare the yield and characteristics of different varieties.
