Agricultural Practices

Also known as: cultivation practices

Agrotechnical practices include all activities performed during tomato cultivation—from preparing the planting site through the end of the growing season. These include, among other things, planting, fertilizing, watering, mulching, removing side shoots, pruning leaves, staking, and plant protection. When performed properly, these practices help keep the plants in good condition and ensure a high yield.
