In 2015, we noticed the spontaneous appearance of an extraordinary plant. From the very first fruits, its unique color combination drew attention: deep gold accented with striking indigo-violet highlights. The shape of the fruits revealed the typical features of oxheart varieties, while their impressive size – often reaching 400–800 g – evoked admiration and curiosity. Upon reviewing plantings from the previous season, it turned out to be a spontaneous cross of two exceptional varieties: Homer Fike Yellow Oxheart and Indigo Rose.

From that time on, for nine consecutive years, we worked on stabilizing this line. Careful selection, controlled cultivation, and successive generations allowed us to achieve full consistency of traits and preserve the characteristic appearance and flavor. Thus, the variety Anna’s Legacy (Spuścizna Anny) was born – a tomato that combines beauty, flavor, and resilience in a truly exceptional way.

The plant is tall, with vigorous and energetic growth, slender stems, and delicate leaves. It requires staking or other support but rewards with extraordinary productivity. It matures about 80 days after transplanting. The fruits impress not only with their size and appearance but also with their flavor – distinctly sweet, intensely aromatic, and with an exceptionally thin skin that gives them a refined delicacy.

In terms of health, the plant shows very high resistance to leaf mold (Cladosporium fulvum) and increased tolerance to other fungal diseases. Thanks to this, it also performs well under less favorable weather conditions, maintaining vitality and high fruit quality.

We did not choose the name of this variety by chance. It is a tribute to Anna Białoboki, co-founder of our farm, a great enthusiast of unique plant and tomato varieties, whose love for plants was, is, and will remain the inspiration and foundation of our work. “Anna’s Legacy” – Spuścizna Anny – is more than just a tomato: it is a symbol of heritage, passion, and beauty passed on to future generations.

If we were to take only three tomato varieties with us to a desert island, alongside the reliable Aussie and Ruby Surprise, there would certainly be a place for Anna’s Legacy – for its beauty, pure taste, and abundance.
