The Ananas Blue tomato is a unique variety bred in Belgium in 2010, a cross between the OSU Blue and Ananas varieties. The fruit of this plant is medium-sized, weighing from 150 to 300 g, with a characteristic yellow-orange skin with blue discolorations, which depend on the intensity of sunlight. The flesh is juicy, sweet, with a delicate citrus aftertaste, with yellow-red spots in the middle.
The plant grows to a medium height, and its leaves have dark green and blue discolorations. This is a variety with a long vegetation period (about 75 days) and can be grown both in the ground and under cover. These tomatoes are best eaten raw, especially in salads and on sandwiches, thanks to their exotic taste and impressive appearance.
