A beautiful Indigo-type variety. Large fruits weighing up to about 400 grams, with intense Indigo coloring on the top of the fruit and distinct reddish-gold streaks running from the stem toward the pistil scar. When cut open, the fruit is predominantly yellow. A late-season variety; the fruit ripens about 80 days after planting. The plant is tall and requires staking.
Polish breeder Zbigniew Pawluczuk is behind Alice’s Dream. In an account cited by the Michigan Heirlooms nursery, he described it as a chance cross between Blue Gold and an unknown indigo-type tomato, discovered in 2015.
