Many tomato varieties are red, everyone knows what they look like, there's just not much you can say. However, here the red color is simply different. It's perfect. It's hard to describe it in words, even photos won't do it justice - Clint Eastwood has a perfect, deep red color - slightly matte, scattering light, you have to see it with your own eyes to understand. About the variety itself - it bears fruit very evenly, the clusters are large, filled. The skin of the fruit is thin, moderately resistant to cracking, at the end of the fruit there is a slightly pointed tip. The plant is tall, requires tying. The leaf is regular. The history of the variety: we obtained the seeds from the TomatoFest company, whose seeds were donated by a former employee of the University of California - Archie Millett, whose breeding goal was to obtain a variety resistant to diseases with full flavor and aroma. The variety is ideal for preserves, but it will also work great as a sandwich tomato.
