A variety that produces giant fruits, typically weighing half a kilogram or more. The fruits are distinctly striped, pink, and very fleshy. Not only do they look captivating, but they taste just as good. It’s worth considering staking the clusters, as despite their strong stems, they can snap under the weight of the fruit. The plants are tall and require staking. They ripen late, after about 85 days.
Pink Jazz was bred by Fred Hempel of Artisan Seeds. In this variety, he has brought the appeal of striped tomatoes to a large format: a single fruit is enough for several impressive, meaty slices.
