One of our favorite dwarf varieties. It combines many of the traits gardeners look for—and offers so much more. First, it’s a dwarf variety. This trait makes it ideal for typical open-ground cultivation. Second, it’s a oxheart variety, and the fruit is very fleshy and tasty. Third, the fruit’s color is a deep mahogany verging on chocolate. We wholeheartedly recommend this variety; it’s our personal favorite—we’ll definitely be growing it every year!
It was created from a cross between “Dwarf Wild Fred” and “Brad's Black Heart” by Vince Lavallo. Released by the Dwarf Tomato Project in 2015, it combines heart-shaped fruit with compact growth.
