Around 1990, the seeds of this variety migrated from Italy to the United States. This variety has gone through a selection route lasting about 30 years, where each year, the earliest, largest and non-cracking fruits were selected for subsequent plantings. Tall plants with potato leaves and thick stem require tying. Large fruit, weighing up to 700 grams, dark-pink and very fleshy, with great taste and a very pleasant aroma. The fruits reach maturity after about 70 days from planting to the ground.
