Large, fleshy fruits with a beautiful pink-purple hue, weighing 350–600 g, delight with their exceptional flavor and aroma. With few seeds and thin skin, this variety is ideal for sandwiches, salads, purees, and soups. It does not crack. An early variety, maturing in about 75 days.
Despite the word “Purple” in its name, the fruit is pink. This variety is worth comparing to “Brandywine”: both are prized for their large, fleshy fruit, but “Pruden’s Purple” usually begins bearing fruit earlier.
