A tall, robust plant with potato-like leaves, as seen, for example, in the variety Brandywine. A distinctive feature is its high yield, with fruits weighing up to 300 grams—pink in color with creamy flesh and very few seeds. The flavor is well-balanced, sweet and tart. It thrives in warmer climates or when grown under cover.
This variety is preserved through the American seed exchange: it was listed by the Seed Savers Exchange in 1991. With its fleshy, pink fruit and potato-like foliage, it invites comparison with Brandywine.
