The large, fleshy, and distinctly flattened fruits weigh up to 250 grams—they have distinct stripes, and the upper part of the fruit turns a perfectly black, glossy color, characteristic of Indigo varieties. The fruit’s appearance catches the eye of every tomato lover. This is a mid-late variety; the fruit reaches maturity after about 82 days. The plant is tall and requires staking or tying up.
Lovely Lush was bred by Brad Gates at Wild Boar Farms. Beneath the dark shoulders, the skin reveals a pink background and stripes that transition from green to gold. The coloration depends on ripeness and light exposure, so individual fruits may display different patterns.
