A very early variety of cherry tomato, with perfectly round fruits, thin skin, and a golden-yellow color. The fruits reach maturity about 60 days after transplanting. A determinate plant with a compact growth habit, it is also suitable for container gardening. A small support helps hold up the fruit-laden stems.
Gold Nugget originates from James Baggett’s breeding program at Oregon State University. It combines very early ripening with small, golden fruits and a compact plant.
