A unique variety with reddish-brown fruit, the upper part of which turns a deep black. The fruit is small, weighing up to 60 grams, and forms small, dense clusters. It has a very intense flavor and an excellent aroma. The fruit ripens about 75 days after transplanting. The plant grows tall and requires staking or trellising.
Blue Chocolate was bred by Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms in California. In this selection, he combined the dark skin color with the reddish-brown color of the ripe fruit.
