A beefsteak-type pineapple tomato with beautiful colors and a very large size, weighing up to one kilogram. High-yielding. The skin is thin, free of blemishes, though delicate. The plant grows tall and requires staking or tying up.
Gary Ibsen received seeds that were supposed to produce large pink tomatoes. However, in two trial plantings, golden-red, striped fruits appeared, and subsequent plantings retained this appearance. This accidental discovery became the “Serendipity Striped.”
