The fruit is as fleshy and large as in the red variation (Ponderosa Red). Golden-yellow color, delicate skin, pleasant, balanced taste, not too sour, noticeably sweet. The flattened fruits easily reach a weight of 450 grams and more. First introduced to the market in 1914 by Peter Henderson. The fruits reach maturity about 75 days after planting. High-growing plant, requires staking or tying.
