An amazing two-colored tomato. The heart-shaped fruits can weigh up to 900 grams. They are yellow-orange on the outside and distinctly pink when cut open. As they ripen, the pink color may also become visible on the outside of the fruit. The skin is delicate and resistant to cracking. The Dawson’s Russian Oxheart variety was developed by Jeff Dawson of Napa from the ‘Russian 117’ and ‘Georgia Streak’ varieties. The fruit reaches maturity approximately 75 days after transplanting. The plant is tall and requires staking or trellising.
