A tomato that is unique in both appearance and flavor. The fruits are typically flattened, and the skin features a stunning combination of red and yellow streaks that fade into a dark purple, almost black color. The fruit weighs between 50 and about 100 grams. A very productive variety. The fruits reach maturity about 80 days after transplanting. The plant is tall and requires staking or tying up. One of the most beautiful tomatoes!
Dark Galaxy was bred by Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms. The spots and streaks make each fruit look like a tiny star map; this is a tomato you don’t need to hide in a dish, because it’s a decoration in its own right.
