As they ripen, distinct stripes in various shades of green appear, gradually turning to pink when fully ripe. When cut in half, the green outer part blends beautifully with the center, which changes color to a light pink. The fruit reaches maturity approximately 78 days after transplanting. The plant grows tall and requires staking or tying up. Definitely worth recommending!
American breeder Bill Jeffers is responsible for selecting this variety. This is an interesting example of contemporary work on green-fruited tomatoes: here, ripeness is also indicated by a pink blush and a slight softening of the fruit, rather than a complete change in color to red.
