One of the most interesting open-pollinated varieties. The large, deeply ribbed, and slightly flattened fruits are dark red in color with green accents resembling flames. The balance between flesh and juice makes the fruit versatile for any use. The fruit reaches maturity about 75 days after transplanting. This variety is productive even in cooler climates.
Brad Gates discovered this variety among plants of Green Zebra. It is among his earliest selections at Wild Boar Farms. The breeder highlights its similarity to Black Zebra, though with larger, more frequently ribbed fruits.
