Blue Streak is the result of Tom Wagner’s breeding efforts. Relatively large fruit and high yield are the two main characteristics of this variety. The fruit darkens in areas exposed to sunlight, while parts shielded from light turn red as the fruit ripens. Excellent flavor and stunning appearance. The fruit reaches maturity about 80 days after transplanting. The plant grows tall and requires staking or tying up. Excellent for salads, preserves, and eating raw.
