Another variety coming from Craig LeHoullier, who in 1997 bought the seeds of Cherokee Chocolate variety. Fruits of one of the plants were different from the others - during maturation turned green with a light green center. After stabilizing characteristics of a variety gave it a name Cherokee Green. Abundant fruiting variett, the bushes are tall and strong, similar to the plant of Cherokee Purple. Fruits do not exceed 300 grams are colored intensely amber and green, while ripening changes slightly toward yellow. It is one of the tastiest and most aromatic varieties of green tomatoes. Perfect for slicing on sandwiches and as a basis for a delicious salads. Late variety, fruits ripen after about 85 days after planting.
