Gary’s Golden Bear is an interesting variety of beefsteak tomato, with bright yellow fruits that can weigh between 180 and 700 grams. The fruits are round and slightly flattened, very fleshy, and contain few seeds. Both the flesh and the skin are a deep yellow, without any discoloration, and the delicate skin is resistant to cracking. These tomatoes are characterized by a sweet, mild flavor with a slight fruity note, making them an excellent addition to salads and cold dishes.
The plant is a tall variety, capable of reaching up to 2 meters in height, and requires staking or tying up. It matures approximately 80–85 days after transplanting, classifying it as a mid-late variety. Due to its hardiness and high yields, “Gary’s Golden Bear” is an excellent choice for gardeners seeking a reliable, tasty, and visually appealing variety.
