One of the oldest varieties in our lineup, introduced by Livingston in 1882. It is characterized by high disease resistance. The fruit is medium-sized, weighing 200 to 250 grams, and is yellow or orange-yellow. As the fruit ripens further, a red discoloration may appear on the bottom of the fruit. Very tasty, with a balanced amount of juice and flesh. The fruit reaches maturity approximately 75 days after transplanting.

Golden Queen appears on Livingston’s historical list of introductions under the year 1882. It can be found in the 1934 Livingston’s Seed Annual catalog, alongside the varieties that helped shape the early American tomato market.
