This variety honors Dr. John Wyche of Hugo, Oklahoma, one of the first members of the Seed Savers Exchange. The seeds he donated became part of the organization’s collection and were passed on to other gardeners. It is undoubtedly one of the best-tasting yellow tomatoes. The beefsteak-type fruits are slightly flattened, smooth, blemish-free, and virtually seedless. It’s worth noting their very rich flavor and large size. One of the best yellow tomato varieties—definitely worth trying!
